Who knew that I would go from struggling to run for just 1 minute to completing this wonderful programme in 9 short weeks? So chuffed!
Thanks to everyone in this brilliant community for all your advice and words of encouragement. I really donβt think I could have done it without you. Merci!
Now for a celebratory gin and tonic ππΌ

Thank you. And donβt worry about repeating runs - I had to do 5 runs in Week 1 and 4 runs in Week 7 and I still got here. All the best! Happy running πββοΈ
Congratulations π₯³ Itβs amazing to get from shuffling to running in such a short time isnβt it! Enjoy just getting out there and running now π

You deserve to celebrate your achievement. I canβt wait until Iβm in the same position next week. Have you thought about where you go from here? There are some great charity runs available if you need a little motivation to keep going. Iβm going to take a few days off when I graduate then go onto the 50 mile in a month challenge for Alzheimerβs Research UK. I know the thought of doing it for a charity that is close to my heart will spur me on.
Thank you so much. That cause is close to my heart too. I will look into it. Thanks for the heads up. For now Iβm going to repeat Week 9 for a few weeks I reckon
Well done you ! I am in week 3 r3 tomorrow and 3 minutes is hard so praying I can take some positive encouragement from your journey πππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈYou must be so chuffed x
That's brillant well done. You gave definitely earned a gin & tonic or 2. I am on week 5 and looking forward to getting to week 9. I had never run before and I am actually enjoying running now. It's not been easy but so worth the effort.
Thank you! Week 5 Run 3 was one of my favourites. Donβt forget to punch the air when youβve finished it! π Itβs so fab when you start enjoying it. Youβve got the bug ππΌ
Im running tonight ...my final one and I will graduate yipee. π€
I have run in the evenings ..between 8.30 amd 9pm and have felt good then...very little people about and cool. I think i need to overcome my fear of being seen so once in consolidation i may do 8 pm and then..week on week run half n hr earlier. Dont know why that concerns me but i sort of like my privacy
