I’m feeling a little disappointed to be honest - I ran for 16 minutes and had such a pain in my stomach that I stopped to walk for a minute, then went back to running for 3 minutes. Right now I feel a bit silly because in reality it was only a minute more, but at the time it didn’t feel right.
I’m going to repeat the run before I move on to next week because I want to be able to do it in full, and I know I should be able to do it because so many others before me have.

Well done. It takes strength to stop and it means you are knowing your own body more- something to celebrate! You will do it next time - slow & steady ❤️
Thank you, I think it’s easy to say that I should have kept going once you’ve finished but at the time I didn’t feel right. I’ll try again and definitely take it a bit slower ! ❤️
You were correct on stopping today, have a extra day off running and repeat run 3 of week 5 again, perhaps you ran a little too fast today, run it a second time a little slower than you did today.
Well done. I have just done the same and re- ran week 5 run 3, As I had to stop for a few seconds on my last attempt. I now feel amazing and ready to take on week 6. I think you should repeat it, you can do it but I think it’s a mental thing.
I’m glad to hear that you felt so good today after repeating!! I’ll take a few days and then try it again. I think you’re right about it being in my head more than anything, from the very start I had the outlook that it would be too hard so I’m quite surprised I even made it to 16 minutes without a break
You are being sensible by listening to yourself and stepping it back when needed. I am sure you will smash this run on your next outing. Great attitude. You've got this.
Thank you, the more I read these replies and thought about it I don’t feel as silly for stopping. The good news is I repeated it just now and I managed it!!
I’m doing run 3 of week 5 on weds and it seems like such a huge step up from 2x8 mins, but hearing that you managed it is inspiring and uplifting so thank you! X
No matter if you do it first time or if you don’t and then do it again, you’re going to feel so great after it!! Even on my first attempt the fact that I ran for 16 minutes straight was pretty mind blowing to me, and I’m so happy that I did it again 😊x
