After a dreadful night sleep (stressing about the 20 minute, no break run), I crawled out of bed early, exhausted but determined to do it. I was so grateful to @acountrycabbage who offered to run her run at the same time as me for moral support - even though it was early, thank you CC! ππ»
Cannot believe I did it, I never thought I would be able to run for 20 minutes without a break but I did!!! I sort of went into auto pilot and after the first 10 mins struggle, it got easier in a way as I started to think about other things to distract me.
I was mighty relieved when Jo came in at the end to say Iβd done it.. those final 2 mins were a killer as was uphill slightly.
Not sure whether to repeat it or keep going??
Loving this forum and those friends Iβve made.. thank you for your support - especially CC! X

You don't need to repeat that run, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran ππΎ π
Keep going! You did brilliantly. When you describe going into auto pilot, that was running doing its magic! These longer runs enable you to get into the running zone and relax.
Thanks, am suuuuper chuffed with myself, I wonβt lie! Keep telling everyone.. some of whom are runners so for them itβs nothing so have to punctuate it with βI know this is not much to you but...β ππ
Just read this - and well done you !!...FAB! it is a massive milestone - when I found out it was 20 mins non stop, I just started to actually wonder what the.....! But we did it......if we can do this, we can do the whole thing!
Thanks, hi-fives to us all!! I really hopemoncan go the distance, I find I struggle in the beginning before I get into a rhythm and then it gets a bit better. Am looking forward to feeling a burst of energy which seems to allude me up to now! π
Well done Sussex13, W5R3 is a real test of endurance, itβs a great feeling to complete that one. It sounds like youβve found a method of switching on your auto pilot to keep going π
