So after putting it off all last week and putting off going since 8am this morning I finally got my bum into gear and got out of the front door!! I’ve done couch to 5k before and had forgotten how hard week one can be, I truly think it’s the hardest week as with running for only 60 seconds you do forget to pace yourself and end up going too fast. I did this and think I almost killed myself in the process!! Also misjudged how hot you get whilst running, definitely don’t need the jacket next time, although it’s good to hide the flab wobbling 😆
Does anyone have any suggestions of programs to follow on your rest days? 😁

I am an unfit 51 year old and found w1r1 sooo hard. I completed w4r2 yesterday and can’t believe it! If you’d told me at run 1 I would be able to run at week 4 I wouldn’t have believed you. X
Rest says you can stretch more. yoga, cycle of swim (when we are allowed) but never run on rest days. You've done it before so know that keeping going is the number 1 thing. Good luck.
