We knew it was there, well i did anyway so for our walk after work we went to have a look, it’s a bit over a kilometre round. A 9 hole golf course that looks like it hasn’t been used for some years but someone still mows paths round and through.
It’s surrounded by trees, hawthorn in flower horse chestnut coming out, poplar trees and many others, next time I will take the phone and some photos
More than usual bird song, smells of flowers and trees, 2 magpies in front of us 2 for joy and deep blue sky above, what more would anyone want?
I had already walked to work and back today and extra hour and a half at work sorting out things that needed sorting out so just a short walk
Stay safe and well and run strong

We have been blessed by such beautiful weather, birds and beautiful smells of spring haven't we - it helps through this strange period. We discovered some hidden little wilderness areas on our walk today. Thought it was about time I walked with my husband instead of a lone run this morning. The air was so fresh and sweet!
I think I'll stick to grass for now, then will try the street in a week or two when I'm running a bit more and stronger. Or maybe for 2 grass runs and 1 street run. Thank you 😊
When we joined a gym a few years ago, we were told not to run on pavements as it tells on your knees. We both have bad knees anyway, I am 72 hubby is 69 glad we took his advice. We were fairly active before everything closed though.
