Having been running a couple of years, I could go get a medal every weekend (under normal circumstances) for running a pretty easy 5k... I think C25K is a much bigger achievement and medals are well deserved for those who want one. Yes, they’re making some money... but why not? If people can sell water for £1+ a bottle then there’s nowt wrong with designing and selling something to make people smile in my opinion.

Yes indeed it is 😀 I completed 2 June and got my 5k last weekend so I’ve ordered one 😀 I’m so excited 😆 I just had to upload a screenshot of my 5k run from my phone and a screenshot of the c25k week 9 graduate. Now I wait 🤗

Hang it in a nice prominent position so everyone who visits can see it. I’d find that less intimidating than a marathon medal if I was considering starting out 🤣

Oh god I’m not sure I’ll ever get a marathon medal. You have to consider things like carrying food and water and having toilet stops. Too much 😱😂

Sometimes they do a lot of that for you 🤣. I’m not sure actually if I want to go marathon or 50k ultra first... ultra support tables have cake and stuff!!!

Several have pizza at the end too... I’d be pretty quick if it was only one pizza for the first 8 finishers to grab a slice too 🤣🤣🤣
