I'm back! W3R1

I completed C25k over a year ago now. I stopped exercising all together up until a couple of months ago when I got back into the gym ( I get married this year) ...I hope.

Like a lot of people I've had to find an alternative way of exercising now my gym is closed and restarting this programme seemed like a no-brainer when it's a reason to be allowed to leave the house.

I have just started week 3 and completed run 1 today. I found it ok but my pace took a big hit (I know it's no biggie).

My main reason for this post is to encourage people who are doing this for the first time that it really does work. The best advice I received was trust in the programme and you can do it. Every time I proceeded to the next week I thought this is the week I won't be able to do it. Which is completely untrue! You can do it! Being able to run for ten minutes let alone thirty seems a mile off (haha) at the minute but I will get there.

I also do the runs between working shifts whilst ensuring I have the rest days in between each run. This means it takes me longer than the 9 weeks but who cares? It still works.

Good luck everyone
