I've just done my first run today and feeling proud!

Hi all,

I've never really enjoyed running but I need to do something to get myself moving more and this seems like such a sensible approach. I couldn't believe it when I completed the W1 R1 today and I'm even looking forward to the next one :)

Grab a running routine that works for you, I ran on Monday, Wednesday and Friday weekends off👍

You’ve done the hardest bit by doing the first run. You’ll soon get the running bug! Stick with it-it’s a brilliant programme & has so many health benefits-both physical & mental! Enjoy!!!

Well done Authorgal, keep up the great work and you’ll get all the support and encouragement you need here.

I fully agree with all the above posters, it is an amazing programme and it does work.

Wait until you start ( you may have had this already) to have a post run high, and you’ll def be hooked.

I also found it helpful to have a routine for run days and stick with it no matter what the weather etc etc.
