I knew it would be tough but I struggled through it. On the 4th run I started thinking I might not complete it but by the final run, mentally I felt much better even though physically I was pretty much done in. I've never run for 30 mins in my life without stopping but I'm determined to reach 5k standard before my 50th birthday and then hopefully run a 10k race when I'm ready.
First run done ... just: I knew it would be... - Couch to 5K

Go for it!! You will be amazed how the stamina builds every week. 😊
Thanks for your reply. I'll need more than Michael Johnson's voice to keep me going. Hearing from people like you for support is much appreciated
I'm not really qualified to give advice as only just started wk4, but I am truly amazed...if someone had told me after my first 1 minute bursts that I could run for 5 minutes I would have said no way!! Keep it As slow as you can...oldfloss knows her stuff!! 👍🏻
Lottie you chose the gorgeous Mr Smooth as coach, his voice is silk, he won loads of bling, including Olympic. With him on your shoulders whispering encouragement and your grit to continue, your goals are sure to be met. Well done you and good luck next time out
It's great isn't it? When you mentally push past it and the sense of achievement kicks in. Love it. Keep going 🏃🏼♀️
It is a great programme, it will turn you into a runner.
Keep running keep smiling.
Well done.... slow and steady does it... just follow the programme and let it take you forward
Keep to the programme and never think 'I can't do it' always think 'I can do it' .. only on Week 4 myself but I have found that to be a great piece of advice. Our mind set plays a big part.. also 'slow and steady' 😁 I'm sure you will reach 5k 10k and beyond...
