W1R1 - just done it and really enjoyed it. I was super cautious as I didn’t want to put myself off. I’d read (and reread) the excellent “How to....” page, did the warm up recommended in the link, took it VERY slowly, and have also done the warm down stretches (also via a link). Looking forward to Run 2 on Wednesday, but I’m going to continue being cautious. I Also just want to say thanks to the lovely people on here that are so encouraging and supportive - it really helps! 👍😁

Good on you - you got out there and you did. We all say it, but that was the hardest part...just starting. So it's onwards and upwards...amazing. Glad to read you're doing the before and after stretches, I think they're vital - so you're a very wise person too.
Happy running, enjoy each run, both the good ones and the not so good ones - just keep believing in yourself...you can do it! 🌻
Congratulations Wenderwoo ..... Have to say a huge thank you as I have been putting it off all day then saw your post and thought I HAVE to do this ..... guess what .... I did!! Woo hoo first steps made and have to say I am feel fab now! Ankle a little sore but have a good ankle support on and will rest it now but actually did it!!!!! Wednesday here we come 😄🏆
