Haven't been here for ages! I completed C25K nearly 2 years ago - was going well until I had some recurring problems with my hamstrings - first one then the other. Kept going throughout but very short runs and a lot of patience required. I am now back to running every other day and slowly building up the time/distances but I'm still nowhere near where I was. C25K has given me the knowledge and discipline to take small steps and not to feel disappointed with myself - I know I can do it.

Great post about the extra things C25k can teach us.
I am just back up to W6 after very nearly a year of no running as a consequence of a knee injury, so I totally agree with your sentiments.
Taking on board that we are also older than before is also important and in my case I have had to accept that I will never beat any of my pbs, but I am running again........so victory is mine.
Keep running, keep smiling.
