No motivation and hard run

W2R1: urgh that was hard. I was supposed to have done this run on Friday but had been putting it off. Glad I've done it but it wasn't all that enjoyable. Lovely running weather however!

Well done, you did it.

If any run is tough, just slow down.

This makes it more achievable and more enjoyable.

Very true! But then I feel like I'm crawling 🙈... but of course you are right! I'll remember for the next run and listen to MJ telling me the age old mantra of slow and steady x

You have lost fitness since you last ran regularly, so be kind to yourself and build up gently.

I usually get at least one of those a month... really hate the run all the way to the finish, and then love it.

I know. I just wasn't feeling it before I even set out but it needed to be done! .... all this being at home is making me eat the wrong things. It's more being at home with my husband who eats what he wants! I'd lost a stone and a half post baby and back to my normal self but it's hard not to stuff your face when surrounded by it and others who just do! 🙈 The exercise really needs to happen to counteract the face stuffing 😂😂😂

Well done Dee, I’ve just finished week 2 and my 1st and 3rd runs were great but for some reason the 2nd seemed less enjoyable. No idea why! 3 identical runs 🤷‍♂️

The good thing is that today’s run was great again so it’s worth just patting yourself on the back for getting through a wobbly one and crack in to the next.

Keep it up and we’ll done 👏👏

Ahh well done mate! It's funny how that happens. I was scrolling through my past posts and the 2nd one of week 2 was the same for me. This time seems to be the first. Hopefully it will be better next time! Thank you 😊😊😊

Fantastic...you did it!! 😁 We sometimes have the odd run when you’re just not that into it, but there’ll be more amazing ones ahead that more than make up for it! W2R1 Completed and history ✅!! Well done you!! ❤️❤️❤️

Interesting, I also struggled with week 2 Run 1. First week wasn't bad at all. 3rd week OK, so wondered why W2R1 was so hard?!
