I really thought my get up and go had got up and gone, till I read some of the great posts on here this morning. I missed my run over the weekend. Yes there were a million 'reasons' but I could have done it if I had just got the shoes on and got out there!! Anyway I went out this morning, thanks to you lot. It was co!d and bright, and I got to wear my new running jacket from Primani.

Some time ago someone mentioned Zombie run. If you can bear the adverts during your warmup it's free, and you can listen to music or the radio in between. I was so engrossed I ran straight past the park gate and had to go in the next one! I had a lovely run. Broke no records, but it was a lovely morning and I feel so much better for having done it. I was so engrossed in the game that my feet just kept moving on their own. I think it might get irritating after a while but for now I am enjoying it. Have a good day and a great run everyone xx

Thanks Jancanrun, Zombie Run is definitely worth a go. I am not planning on getting the pay version yet in case I get bored, but so far I am quietly impressed.

I leave my running gear out the night before so when I wake up it's looking at me so I don't have the excuse that I forgot or can't be bothered to get my gear out etc etc etc - works for me🤣🤣

Oooh I can be much more inventive than that!! But yes leaving the gear out is great, you can climb into it and get out the door before second or even third thoughts get in the way!
