My right knee is really painful this morning after my start yesterday ☹️ I know there’s the knee strengthening exercises but are there any other tips to get it ready to go out again tomorrow?

It's common, are there no guides about it on here somewhere?

I think it happens to a lot of people at the beggining.

The guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... has advice on minimising impact and stretching after every run, which will help.

Be kind to yourself and keep that impact low.

Don't run tomorrow if you are in pain, an extra rest day might help. I had achy knees at the beginning. I did squats on rest days and overtime my knees caught up with the rest of me. Also make sure you have good shoes.

I like Helen do squats on rest days and lots of calf raises. I was getting niggles in my left knee and calves during week 2 and 3. I am now on week 6 and touch wood, my legs are better. Hope this helps. X
