I was walking this aft and my knee gave way and I can't straighten it now, if I rest and ice it will I be able to do my wk9 run 2 in morning or should I wait a few days and see how it goes, really don't want to stop now

Ohhh bless you!.... you’ve done amazing... I’m no expert but I definitely would wait a few days..... I’m gutted for you as I know how I would feel but hopefully a couple of days rest should see you right 🤞🏃🏽‍♀️👏👏

Thank you, worried if I have to stop and rest, I won't be able to get going again

I feel for you but better to rest a couple of days and then go than continue and mess yourself up long term.. I initially had knee and back pain - I chose to rest up (didn’t want to but was case of having to)... I think it was the best decision 👍

Best of luck

Aww don’t worry - I’m sure you will still get back on it ... in fact I know you will! just rest up and let your body repair and then tentatively continue on your journey 👍🤗

I’m in the same boat, was on the final run toda6 and have pain in the back of my knee so had to stop, resting it now though. 😀

Noooo! Poor you. I would leave it at least another day probably.

Nobody can possibly answer that question, but it is highly unlikely that you will be ready to run in the morning.

Follow the advice in the guide to the plan on dealing with injuries and the PRICE principles and err on the side of caution before running again.
