Knee pain

Just finished W4R3, and I’m starting to get a lot of knee pain in one knee.

Looking online I think I need to stretch more. Any recommendations on YouTubers that I should look at to get some ideas ?

Thanks 😊

The guide to the plan includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

What trainers are you running in and did you get gait analysis done? If not, it may be that you need to get this done. For the first few weeks it is not that important, but by week four, you need to get trainers and possibly insoles that will help you get a good running gait. Made all the difference to us both.

Hi I have some running trainers but didn’t get the analysis done, wanted to see if I enjoyed it first. But I think you’re right, just have wait until the shops are open again now. Thanks 😊

Just take it easy and no heroics. If it starts hurting at least slow a little, but stop if it feels bad. Good luck with your running and stay safe
