I was slow but I did it!

Slow and steady wins the race 😉
It does. I’m now actually looking forward to the runs
😬
That's great if you are looking forward to them, it will help you to become a better runner..
When is your next run?
Wednesday. I was running 3 times a week (Mon, Thur & Sat) but I’m going to go out every other day now 😊
How many miles a week do you think you will run?
Not sure. I haven’t been measuring my miles but I think this week each run has added around 7500 steps to my Fitbit so is that about 3.5 miles per run? That’s with the walking too.
Thats plenty really to keep you fit... but do you want to run further?
Yeah and on the days I don’t run I walk. My plan is to hopefully complete C25K and work on my speed from there on x
So you want to be able to do it faster then, inside 30 minutes?
Eventually. Maybe.
That would be great if you did..
You would have to run at 6mph the whole time I think?
I think Oldfloss travels the country painting that on the roads just to remind us all!
Great job.
You guessed...I had to wait to paint...and
Steady!
😬
I have an almost identical photo to yours.. taken when I was completing C25K.... I am as UnfitNoMore implies, slightly infamous on here for my. slow and steady mantra.
It works.... and you are doing wonderfully. if you check any of my past posts out you will see what I mean.
It got me to my first HM last year... this year's was cancelled ! Humph xxxx
