W4R2 - Becoming Braver!

So, on the days that a 'run day' falls, if it's been a work day (I only Tues-Fri) then I've been out of the door at 6 am and have started my run from the front door. I've been happy to do this because I figure that at that time of day nobody is going to see me.

On the days where my run day has fallen on a non-work day, I've been walking my dogs first and then heading out for my run sometime after 9 am. On these days I've been jumping in the car and running somewhere where I haven't cared who has seen me, as chances are they won't know me.

Today, I've been the bravest of the brave and started my run from my front door. I haven't cared who's seen me, I've run past a neighbour whilst giving her a wave and I've even been brave enough to wear the most attention-seeking pink running t-shirt that I have instead of my usual blacks and greys!

Guess what? I felt amazing and loved my run. I cannot believe how much this app has made me enjoy running, it and this community are amazing.

Very well done... and if you’re gonna be seen, be SEEN! I’m still driving from home, but some of that is an attempt to find flat... I have got to leaving the house in shorts, so I’m on my way.

Right, I’m off to buy some loud running gear. Happy running!

If I’m driving passed someone running I always say out loud “Go on lad or go on girl” and am genuinely proud of them for getting out there and doing something. It’s great to see. Well done you for going straight from your front door. I still run in the corner of a remote field 🤣

Yup!! Be brave..loud and proud! My chosen colour is illuminous orange..trainers, socks, top and phone holder. I am Terry the trotting tangerine and I feel awesome! I can see my trainers in the dark..no escaping them.

You certainly seem to have cracked this running lark! Well done..high fives 🙌Over coming self consciousness was a thing for me and I definitely prefer the quieter morning runs. But hey....no one's stopping us c25k guys now!!🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️
