Can't believe I'm only 3 runs from graduating! If you'd said I would be running 2 to 3 time a week as a teenager, never mind a few months ago, I never would have believed you! Its been hard going but I'm determined to complete C25K! During my run this morning I was wondering as I'm chanting to my self 3 runs after this and you graduate, 3 runs after this and you graduate........... Is there life after C25K? what do people do to stay motivated? I enjoy the structure of C25K, do people just keep repeating wk9 run3?

wk8 run 3
There are some links to Consolidation running, 5K+ etc but most seem to use apps to extend distance/ speed etc. I played the week 9 run app a few times and have only recently deleted it. I may regret it if we are locked down much longer. I trade a run for a long walk with husband and feel mean if I go off on my own. I look forward to reading response posts. Take care with week 9. Good luck. ππ
Oh there is so much life after C25K! It is the most exciting time for you to really explore everything about running. After C25K I consolidated to get used to running for 30 mins, then my goal was to reach 5k (which I did by adding a minute or two on the end of every run); then I tried intervals, then I did a 5-10k training plan, then I trained for and completed a half marathon! (All of this happened over 2 years, by the way!). New running adventures await you, dear Teener! Check out our consolidation thread for links, tips and ideas for post C25K running, and read through the replies to see what other folk have been up to.

Brilliant!
Consolidations runs or if you are up for it, you look for Bridge to 10k which on here...
You are flying!!
You're doing just great! Nearly there!
I graduated last week and have started my consolidation runs. I am repeating the week 9 runs but without the app and headphones - so nice to run just listening to nature. I walk for 5, run for 30, walk for 5. I've added a little to my route as I have realised that my pace has quickened up, but I am sticking to the 5/30/5 splits for the next few weeks.
Good luck with week 9 ππ
