Done!! And feel ridiculously proud of myself. I was like Chariots of Fire throwing my arms out when I finished!! I looked at the sky and sunset and for a short time forgot the world problems right now. It felt good. Bit of hip flexor tight pain but my knee which has given me problem going up stairs is absolutely fine. Yay!!

Well done.

Stretching immediately after every run, nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h... while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow.

Thanks. Will do!

Yes!!! I also give a celebratory punch in the air every end of every run, however far. You've made a great start and I hope you can continue without injury. This course will take you places you didn't think you'd go, push you past where you thought you were capable of, challenge you in so many ways and at the very end you will be immensely proud!

You really will do it if you don't give in.

Hooray! Well done you. It’s such a great feeling. I have the theme from Gladiator on my music at the end of my run and I know what you mean about flinging out your arms! Keep going!
