After a very physical weekend hosting a large sporting event (one of the last for now) my body felt a little shattered on Monday, so I decided to leave the run until Today.

New route along the river seemed peaceful and I felt sluggish

I was surprised to find I had run a minute faster per k, my legs felt like jelly at the end and now I know why.

The new running shoes are breaking in nicely and they are holding my feet in the correct place, which is a strain on my legs because they are not used to being in that position.

I still can’t believe I can run for 28 mins!!
