Very warm evening for running. Poorly maintained public footpaths slowed me down a lot as I couldn’t see if there were any holes in the ground. Then I came out at bottom of a hill because I thought I was following a route which would bring me out near top of said hill. Anyway I got most of the way up that hill and dropped to brisk walk for steepest bit. So although my distance was a bit less overall a good run 🏃♀️

But you did it. I’m now trying to tell my head now I’ve graduated that I don’t have to follow a program. If I want to do a shorter run that’s ok, if I can’t yet manage a steep hill it’s ok to try it and then walk. Hills are different to running on flat. Weve done the program (( you almost there) our runs are now for enjoyment whatever we go out and do. Probably best to leave Endure24 hours for a while yet though

There is the 3K for children with the Tadley Runners on 8th July from the Hurst Leisure Centre. Adults can’t enter as such but you can run along with the child as a ‘helper’. You get a medal too! I’m running with Matthew. There is also a 10k.
Greenham Common has a 5K & 10k on 14th October. I have the crazy notion of training for the 10k...Ju Ju’s Plan looks good 👍

I have July 8th in my diary in case I’m asked. I hope I will be . Just a gentle jog with a child will be like a rest!
Violet Lane is a killer it gets me when I walk it.
Come and join us for improvers on Saturdays or Mondays. It’s not fast but it helps consolidate
O and I’ll forget about 10k for quite a while . 5k really needs some work yet. I hoping to enjoy running rather than move on. Maybe work on speed for a while. We’ll see

About to get up and go for a run now. Not in right frame of mind but going to keep it up along with yoga and swimming. It’s me time which I need at moment. It might not be best run ever but I’m not going to let all that hard work go to waste.
Ps check with me or her web site before you turn up Kate often races in a Saturday (hence comment about Endure) or she takes her ‘graduates’ off for Park Run. Not done that yet. Only been to one of her improvers so far
Hello maybe58. If you are interested Kate is going to do her improvers at 8.30 tomorrow meeting at skate park car park. There are only going to be 2 of us as the rest of ladies are doing muddy race for life or are away. It’s not usually that early but Kate is marshalling at Kingsclere later
