week 6 run 2 coming up

I’m now on week 6 and done run 1 so thought I would find some like minded running folk. I found this 1st week 6 run really tough after doing 20 mins straight in week 5 run 3 and feeling very proud of my efforts!

Finding it amazing how much I’m loving running and would never have believed I could do this let alone be on week 6! Hoping to get all the way to 5km! 😃

Welcome to the forum! You’re absolutely not alone in finding week 6 tough…have a look here and maybe add your experience too!

You’ve done brilliantly to get so far and you’ll have more to celebrate! Some people got 5km and some work up to it afterwards-you’ll gwt there when you’re ready. Couch to 5k is all about the timed runs and distance doesn’t really matter. The main things to remember are to try and keep at a comfortable pace where you can hold a conversation out loud (however slow that feels!) and keep your rest days. Lots of hints and tips here….

Can’t wait to hear how you get on! Wishing you loads of luck with the final few weeks at the programme.

I'm loving the running, too! It took me four weeks after graduating to get to 5K but now I'm in the middle of a 10k programme.

Keep it up! You've just got a few more weeks to do and you've got this...
