I think I understood it correctly! Is it one day run, one day break, run, break and so on?

Well done Chewy73, great decision to start this and it is a great programme. So worthwhile, and youโ€™ll get plenty of support on here.

Yes youโ€™re right, itโ€™s 3 x runs per week separated by at least one rest day between runs.

It does get easier, and more fun.

Stick with it, just take it slow and steady.

Well done again ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ช

You've made the most important step. Yes, it gets easier (sort of) - you get better.

Well done.

If it is tough, just slow down...........this is about duration, not speed.

I did take it slow (steady) donโ€™t think my knees would last

Are you following the advice in the guide to the plan on minimising impact, stretching after every run and strengthening exercises?

Whereโ€™s that bit? I knew I had to do some stretching but couldnโ€™t find where the advice is, so went on YouTube ๐Ÿ˜

Good for you. You did the hardest bit when you put your trainers on and left the house. ๐Ÿ‘

My trainers have been on/off for the past week or so! But finally managed to do it! Looking forward to my next run!

Well done! That is fantastic, you have completed the hardest run of all of them! It does get better and it may also feel horrible at the same time, it is the way it is!

If you are puffing and panting then you are going too fast!

Drink water, stretch as soon as you get home and dot forget rest days! You will be fine!
