W4R3 Completed!!

Today I actually ventured out into the real world!! Before I had the luxury of being hidden running around our bit of land but today thought I’d give it a go, strangely nobody took the micky, no cars tooting shouting out ‘idiot’ lol. I really enjoyed the run too, it felt easier especially on the return journey. I felt my breathing getting more in time with my running, I didn’t feel I needed more time walking, it felt such a positive run. Really looking forward to Monday!!

Excellent progress, well done. On to W5 then next, and after two of those you'll be over half way through C25K!

Thanks! Wow yes, I didn't think about that would be half way through! I've just looked at the weather forecast here and it going to be raining but I'm still going to go out as you can never rely on forecasts lol.

Great job 😊

It's amazing how many people aren't looking at us, isn't it??!! 😂

I started off in semi darkness, just so people couldn't see me, now, I think I might buy a fluorescent running top, just to make sure they don't miss me 😂

Good luck with week 5 ☺ 🏃

Still in the semi-darkness phase myself 😊

Lol, thanks! I don't know why I was so embarrassed, I get up at 6am to start my run and it's just getting lighter now, it certainly was on my way back!

I know, I think we all have that 'oh my god, people will look at me' mindset in the beginning, but as your confidence grows, you cast it off.

I saw quite a few people out running this morning when we went into town, and I only looked at them with admiration for getting out there ☺

That's fantastic. Well done on venturing out to the great outdoors! :) I try to look like it's easy if any cars pass me on a run section (despite my beetroot face).

It sounds like you've found the right pace for you and you're smashing it! Looking forward to your post on Monday 👍👏

Thanks, it was nice to get out there, hopefully the weather will be nice to me, I haven’t yet not run due to the weather.

You’re doing great JonnyBeGood

Great to hear you’re really starting to enjoy it so much.

Laughed about your choice of words about running in the real world, I think we’re all a bit self conscious at first about our first foray or two in public. Now though it’s second nature, and I am not the least bit bothered about it.

The only reaction I had this morning from from a dog 🐕 barking quite loudly in my general direction, as I think my legs were too pasty white and untanned 🤣🤣.

Enjoy week 5, which was my favourite week so far 👍💪

Thanks Martin, at the moment it’s really cold & windy so I’m wearing jogging bottoms, when it comes to baring my legs, that’s a whole other ballgame, my legs are defo white & pasty 🤣🤣 I don’t think they will be coming out until about May!!
