Walk of Shame back to Week 1

Soooo I tried the C25K before and got to week 5. I was enjoying it, I could feel myself improving and getting stronger and I just...fell out of practice-FOR 8 MONTHS!

I don’t know what possessed me back then, but I’m starting again now. I have just finished the 3rd run of week 1, and it has kicked my booty. 😅

Anyway, the point of this post is to hold myself accountable, and to remind everyone that you can always start again, even if it’s hard.

Time to get legs!

No shame KP - it is what it is. Draw that line, take that deep breath and crack on- you know we’re here cheering you on and as you’ve got to week 5 before, we all know you’ll have no problem in getting there again and further! Let us know how you get on!

I was listening to a TED talk. Speaker said TED was a convention of failures that never gave up. So keep failing with us.

Well done and welcome back. It is difficult to re-start and even more difficult to re-start to longer you leave it, so another well done for getting back after a fairly lengthy break. So, I think you'll have the motivation to stick with this and progress on through to the end of the adventure this time. Posting on here has made you accountable to us so that's an added incentive! Just take it easy and enjoy the ride, remembering to regularly update us on your progress.

Interesting choice of words "walk of shame" - I see nothing that you should not be proud of in what you are doing. If you ever stop again, just come back to it again. Brilliant!

Be aware that the post you're replying to is from February last year and was the last post from that person. Hopefully she kept it up, but that tale has not been told here.
