Hello again poppets and Happy New Year

I’m back on week 1 of c25k as from today - just a tickle over 2 years from when I first undertook it all.....

Life took over and I stopped running, but let’s see what the next 9 weeks bring.

I’ll try Joe Whiley this time, never rated Laura that much.

Hi Raymond16460. I am one of the Newbie runners on forum started this year. Great to hear you are back. And on the treadmill too. Good luck. 9 weeks will fly by. Great way to start 2019.

Dreadmill - that’s funny 😁

Many people who have ran on a treadmill doing C25K call a threadmill a DREADmill, perhaps that could be for several reasons, they would rather run outside but have to run on the treadmill because of the weather.

It’s a very expressive way of putting it, whatever the reason.

Well done for getting back to it and Jo Wiley is a good call in my view - she has been my companion for the last 9 weeks and I will be sorry to say farewell to her when I finish later this week. I reckon I might keep her in my life for a bit whilst I work on consolidation runs. Keep going!

You can't say that about Laura!!

Welcome back and good luck with your journey 😊

'never rated Laura that much' *shakes head in disbelief*

Seriously though, have you thought about running outside? I am sure that treadmill running takes far more discipline to maintain as it is very dull compared to jogging about looking at stuff. Good luck- at least you know this is possible :)

No such thing as treadmill of shame. It's just a delayed continuation from your efforts 2 years ago. It's only you against you, and you will win for sure. Keep up the good work and happy 2019

Small shoutout for Sanjeev here. I’d be lost without him. Well, maybe not lost, but certainly confused ! 😄

The plan is to do one run a week outdoors. The treadmill, I have set on a 1% incline also to ready myself for when I run on the tarmac
