I hate Laura today. So thoroughly despise her perky attitude while I’m sweating copiously from every pore. Enough of my dramatics, she got me through it. Yeah Laura, yeah me.

You did it, not her, and that's what counts.

It seems an accomplishment of survival vs triumph. But still glad I do it.

Firstly very well done! 😄

Also- I wonder if you might benefit from slowing down so it all feels a bit better. 😄

I’m on the treadmill. Brisk walk at 3mph, jog at 4. Tried jogging at 3.5 but felt too slow to jog. Not sure

Ah - I don’t have a lot of experience on a treadmill, but I find it helpful to listen to my body and run a bit within my ability – that feeling of “I could go faster but I’m choosing not to”. Gradually as I get warmed up, my comfy pace might increase a bit. On the odd occasion that I have used a treadmill, I tap the pace up & down to find that comfy pace zone - although I have to say, I certainly hadn’t found my “happy pace” by week four! – That appeared a bit later. - Go gently, you’re doing great! 😄

You don't have to hate Laura, she's there to help you, well done on completing run 1 of week 4, just do as Laura tells you, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 4.

I don’t hate Laura. She the personification of my persistence. So I’m really swearing at myself cuz for a lifelong non-runner, running sucks.

Well done, you did it!

One of the things I dislike is the treadmill is that I always end up sweaty. It doesn't happen so much in the open air.

The goal is to move outside once I’m sure I can run without keeling over, and snow is off the local track. I think week 5 or 6.

I'll let you off the snow. 😉

You have a great experience to look forward to running outside.

Good luck.
