Feeling quite nervous about this! When I did my 20 minute run I felt the same. It was hard but I did it, hopefully Iβll manage this one too without stopping. π€π»π€π»π€π»
Eek! Got my first 25 minute run tomorrow π― - Couch to 5K
Eek! Got my first 25 minute run tomorrow π―
You will...relax...and simply enjoy. Slow and steady xx
I have aswel and have exactly the same feelings as you. We must think WE CAN DO THIS!!! I'll let you know tomorrow night ππ€
Don't worry Fleetwoodshuttle. You got this! You have been prepared for this, you are ready. Slow and steady wins the race! π
You can do it! Itβs only 5 minutes more. I felt nervous about doing 25 minutes but I managed it and you will too π
Well done for getting this far in the plan.
Some of these later runs are hard and take some determination. But I think that's the point, finding them tough but getting through them is because you've built stamina.
So if you can do the run, however tough, you,see almost certainly ready to move on to the next run.
Good luck.
Take it slowly and just keep putting one foot in front of the other. You will do it!
Yes you will π
Just keep it slow and steady, 5 minutes at a time, and breathe π
You can do this π π π
You're be fine , slow and steady. Trust in the plan, it really works
Iβm doing the same one this morning and also feeling nervous! All these posts have given me a spur on though. Must keep going π€£. Good luck for today let us know how you get on π
Same for me ...just waiting for ground frost to thaw before I take on 25mins run. Good luck!
Good luck!! Let me know how you get on! We must keep going!
I did it!! So pleased and proud β€οΈ
How did you get on Reluctant?
I did it too! Felt so proud of myself, the first 10 minutes were tough but after that I actually enjoyed it. Canβt quite believe those words came out of my mouth! Well done to you too, such an achievement! Itβs an amazing feeling isnβt it?! I never thought I would enjoy it so much π
I did it! How did you get on Incho?
Just back myself. Yeah did it and pushed on for last minute. Think slow and easy is the key - left the body do its thing whilst the bit above the neck should just think of other things to pass the time! Well done to you too - never thought I could run 25 mins without stopping or dying!
Everything youβve just said rings a bell with me. I too ramped it up in the last minute, didnβt realise I had it in me!!!
Good luck my wk r3 tomorrow to. I am sure you can do it
This is where my playlists made up of 5 minute long songs came in handy. It wasn't a 25 minute run, it was a 5 song run; I didn't even think about the time, I just kept singing along in my head all the way to the end.
Nice thinking - think the mental side of running is very understated in all of this.
I did mine this morning it went well. I had to strap up my calf muscle because I pushed a bit too much last Wednesday. Keep it up stay focused you will do it.
good luck T63
Very very well done to FleetwoodShuttle and the others for getting through this one. Sounds like you have all done brilliantly πππͺπͺ
I am only a week or two ahead of you guys, but the further I go through the more my confidence in myself and the programme increases.
I honestly thought Iβd never run for more than 8 mins a few weeks ago, but today I completed my 3rd 25 min run this week.
Slow and steady is the way to go.
Keep up the great work , you can do it.
We did this run yesterday morning, it felt quite hard, but we did it. Looking at the schedule there are four 25 minute runs in a row, I think the first one should be hard and then it should improve by the end of next week as we get fitter, hereβs hoping
You're doing amazing. I'm just on week 3. Doing ok, but dreading those weeks with the long runs. Can't imagine being able to run for 25 minutes.
Well done you.
