I decided I was going to run 3 times a week on designated days, which I am still doing but was going to do 20 mins one day to up my pace and 30 mins the next run. Now I’ve decided to do 20 mins to push myself then 30 mins and the next run will be 5k which takes me about 40 mins.
Once I can do 5k in 30 mins I might have ago at bridge to 10k
Got my park run band but don’t feel like running with other people yet 😬
Have a fab day all xx

You're doing great. You should go to parkrun. The first time I went I was a bit nervous just because it was something new. But honestly the people are great . I've done 2 now my 3rd one this Saturday. Give it a go you might just suprise yourself. 😊😊
Good morning Buddy34, so between walks in my walking club who meet at Drumpelliier Park for a walk on a Tuesday at 10.30 am and again when they meet at Broadwood Leisure Centre Cumbernauld at 10.30am on a Thursday for a walk around Broadwood Loch I ran a 10K round Broadwood Loch this morning in a sub 70 minutes time of 69.23. It meant that I began the run after a ten minute warm up walk just over 1K from the loch, then it was 3 times round it, it's quite a mild day so I was never cold, quite pleased with my sub 70 minutes 10k time.
Tomorrow morning at 10.30 it will be a 4K walk with my walking club group friends round the loch, then into the leisure centre for cakes and coffee, sometimes a member of the group bring in home made cakes, on Tuesday a member brought in a home made dumpling. 😊
