I'm laying in my bed listening to the rain and the wind. It's really blowing a hooley up here. I thought I'd run today but as I'm due to begin the 'Magic Plan' and I was going to start with one of the longer runs (am I allowed to do that?) I've decided that I'll wait until tomorrow. I'm finding that my 'running rhythm ' has changed. I now leave two days between each run - I seem to get too tired otherwise. What with the yoga and walking dogs My daughter said yesterday ' perhaps I should try to do some resistance work ' as I'm doing cardio and stretching. I'd just weighed in on her fancy new scales which told me my BMI, bone mass, muscle mass, metabolic age π‘ and so much more π€ͺ. It was really very interesting. So no run for me today. Just walking the dogs - in the rain, the garden centre and the ironing oh! and let's not forget THE RUGBY!! π

Definitely a cop out. Iβve had days like this but only succumbed once due to jet lag and hangover. You can redeem yourself and go and you KNOW you will feel better π
Sometimes the weather isn't as bad when you are actually out there π jump over the bridge to join us on the 10k forum and see what others on the magic plan are up to. No problem starting with the long run, gets it out the way. I mixed them all up depending on weather, how I felt etc. Good luck and happy running
I've got 50mph winds had to check if parkrun was still going ahead so far so good. Most of it is in a trail section so hopefully not too windy π
Definitely start tomorrow if thatβs how you feel. I believe you can do the runs in any order but they recommend that you donβt end one week with the long run and start the next with the long run. Hope that makes sense!
Hey, dont you listen to those people above me. You shouldn't feel bad at all for not running in those conditions.
Trust me, I've just come back from my 5.8k run (I started the magic plan today) and the wind is truly howling. Of course, I knew that before i set off and still did it. Nothing puts me off. π€£π€£π€£π€£
Have a good weekend and happy running πππ
Well done - you ran over 5k! I have no idea how far I'm running yet - don't want to be discouraged to find I've run far less than 5k - which I strongly suspect is the case! Don't care (yet).
I know what you mean. I try to 'not care' too. As long as you're getting out of it what you went in to it for in the first place - that's what counts! βΊ
Yes! How funny is that? I really thought it was Sunday and then my daughter said it was Saturday which made me feel even better! I'd gained a day - how fantastic π€ͺ
