So finally achieved W3R1

So today was the day I got back 'on it' and went out for r1 of w3 after my stressed out rant on here last week about not going for a run for 5 days! So after all the amazing wonderful advice and support from you lovely bunch I decided to stop being so hard on myself and chilled out... so much so that the 5 days of not running turned into 10! Didnt care what I ate all weekend and did hardly any exercise might sound bad but it was well needed! So with this week being a little calmer in my mad house I'm feeling much better... much much better now I've done my run which I didnt find to bad considering I ran for 3 mins twice!! It didnt even feel like I was out for very long at all today, dont get me wrong legs felt heavy during the last 3 min run, but all in all feeling very happy and can't wait to run friday! 😁

Well done. Someone ought to bottle that feeling when we get back from a run. πŸ‘

Haha yeh it's a nice feeling isn't it, I think I feel better for the rest of the day as well, the feeling of being healthier and hopefully getting fitter!

Sounds like you went and got you some good head space there. Like it! It’s not meant to be a punishment πŸ‘

Well done Beginnermum ...sometimes a rest and being a bit naughty does the trick...we all need a break from certain things just to remind is how good they are!! I’ve been running everyday since Christmas for RED January and i am looking forward to the rest but I know i’ll miss it & hopefully my running will be more regular than it was in December due to the madness of Christmas!! Good luck and keep up the good work x

Yeh, I didnt need a break from running just from life lol... and it stresses me out that in that week I just felt I couldn't fit them in, I let things get on top of me that I dont usually let things get the better of me so then that stresses me out lol!! Feel better this week and so happy to be back to it.

Thank you and good luck with your running and RED January (that I also had to look up) keep us posted how you get on πŸ™‚

Well done! I'm doing W3R3 tomorrow morning, and I was pleased to manage 3 minutes as well.
