Got up at 5:30, it’s cold windy and very dark but I did it, i know I have made progress this week, I found that the third 60 seconds of run 2 was trying but today it was the 6th 60 seconds that made me want to walk. But I kept going and I’ve done week one. Made a few changes, the addition of gloves and a slightly thicker running top made it more comfortable on cold mornings.
Looking forward to Week 2.
I also ran slightly quicker, not on purpose it just happened, I finished the warm down walk ahead of where I had the previous two runs.

Well done Sazzles9, it looks like your C25K adventure is underway. I'm an early morning runner too and am very aware of starting out too cold (exercising cold muscles is not a good way to go). I generally start off also in a hat & gloves which get removed as I warm up, along with the zip on my running top which gets lowered as necessary. The fact that you've gone quicker throughout the week is a good sign as you should be able to cope with the runs next week if you attack those to start with at your original slower pace. Good luck with it all and let us know how it goes.
