Wk 3 run 1 complete

I’ve completed run 1 of wk 3, I’m honestly so happy with myself that I have ran for 3 minutes ☺️. I was really nervous about this run when I could barely run 60 seconds a few weeks ago. It just goes to show that every run prepares you for the next! I love this app, it’s such a great support network. Keep going everyone ☺️🏃🏻‍♀️

I'm at the same stage as you .... starting running for the 1st time a few weeks back at the ripe old age of 54. Loving every minute of it. Good luck with the coming weeks

Well done it’s incredible isn’t it. I’m on W3 too and have my R3 to do today. I’m going to the gym probably cos I’m so scared of falling again after breaking my leg in June. I used to love running outside but I haven’t been brave enough yet this time round. It just feels so good to be exercising and making that second 3 minutes without collapsing. Let’s all cheer each other on x

Well done you xxxxx

Your post took me back to my early weeks and my hubby asking me how long I rang for and me being absolutely thrilled to be able to run for any length of time. The program works. Check out all the pinned posts and links to stretches and hints and tips too. Lots of valuable advice from seasoned runners xxxx

Keep it up, you're doing well. I felt exactly the same only few weeks ago. I thought 3 mins was a long time! Thought never going to manage anymore, but now today jogged for 8 minutes!! Times two with 5min walk between. Felt OK, knees a bit sore but no more than usual next time time run mins!!
