Well just come back after completing run 2 of week 5. "Yes I did it!!" I made it through the first 8 minutes no probs, couldn't wait for the next run but behaved and listened to Laura for the full 5 min recover walk. Off I went again, next thing you know is that I am being told you are half way there and then last 60 seconds, felt great so picked up the pace for the last 60 :). Found it to be a totally fantastic run.
Stats added just for fun!
@ Elsie, did you manage to go out and run today?

Whoop, well done you, that's brilliant! I felt much the same as you. Couldn't believe how at ease I felt and can't wait for Friday. How exciting! I'll post my stats if I can work out how to from my phone!!!! I'm very slow but I'm quite chuffed with how it went! I went out this evening and it was cold but soon warmed up!!!!
I think I have to start another post to put a pic up so will do it shortly!
Oh my god we are halfway through!!!! This is great!!!! I'm so glad I've got a running buddy too!
I know half way through and it seems like yesterday that I started. I think Mr Farah & MIss Radcliffe will have some competition soon
I think what is helping also is the recovery speed, it only takes a couple of minutes and my breathing is back to normal. Friday is the test though, may not use Laura's podcast for that.
It's an incentive program. You join, sync your running app with it and every time you run you get points. Once you have enough points you get vouchers for shopping.
If you want to message me your email address, I'll send you an invite which gives you an extra 100 points to start with.
Wow, well done! Get some rest now to prepare for day 3! I see u r pretty fast, it might help u to do the 20 minute run if u slow a tiny bit but as long as u breathe well and believe in yourself, u can do it!
