So so loving this programme! I look forward to the next run, want to do it every day but I’m following it rigidly and ensuring rest days. I think the bit I love the most is going out before anyone else on a morning or like tonight, just on dusk when the dog walkers are gone and the sun has set. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a dog walker and normally out at these times but it something different - I’m usually out for the woof, but now I’m out for me (and he gets a good run to boot!)

I like your post and attitude to running, you seem to be enjoying it, congratulations on completing run 2 of week 2, if you want to move like Jagger you may do so, onwards and upwards to run 3 of week 2 🤞😊🏃🏾no running on consecutive days.

I have 2 demanding dogs, and I live to leave them at home when I run, so I know what you mean. Sometimes you need some “me” time without the business of life! 😁

Just the same thoughts here! Love those early morning empty pavements! Hope you enjoy the rest of the program 🙂

Well done, you're almost at the end of your second week already! I'm an early morning runner myself, it's the only way I can fit it into family life, plus if I left it to the evening I'd have too many excuses NOT to go out! I start out about 5:15 before the extra street lamps come on (they're on by the time I'm on my way back) and do sometimes see other shadowy figures who turn out to be dog walkers, morning paper buyers and occasionally other running insomniacs! I find it's a great way to start the day, by te time I get to work I feel that I've hit the ground running! Sick to the routine and you will soon be on to W3 and beyond (as Buzz Lightyear would say).

Not what you're looking for?
