So tired this week. Wanted to fit in some cardio Tuesday but really couldn’t find the motivation at all. Run 2 was planned for yesterday but we got the dreaded ofsted call and the whole world as I know it went into complete meltdown. By the time I got home from “volunteering” to get everything in order for today ,aka joining in the mass panic and eating pizza and developing turrets, a run was totally out of the window.
After another full on day I really didn’t want to go out tonight but I dragged myself out anyway. Run completed and pretty event free. Apart from some creepy dude smiling at me as I walked past him for 2nd time (just happens I was on a walking part each time but I wish I’d been running! Some people just give me the heebie jeebies. This been 1 of them! Probably harmless enough but didn’t like it!)
I’m absolutely knackard. I don’t think I gave this run my all at all but I got out there and I did it which is the main thing. I cannot wait to get in a nice hot bubble bath with a cheeky well earned glass of baileys once the kids are asleep (please sleep! Pleeeease sleeep! You ARE feeling sleeeeepy! You want to relaaaaax and go to sleeeep!)
Onwards and upwards to run number 3! Sunday’s are always more chilled. I like Sunday runs
Happy running people xx

Didn’t manage the baileys but if the email we got from our head is anything to go by (and the previous external reviews we’ve had) I think we managed to maintain outstanding for the 2nd time. Obviously she can’t say anything just yet though!
Yes, at times it gets harder than on the drawing board and sometimes you simply can’t do it. That’s all fine. My work life is untidy, has no fixed schedules and l carry my running gear even when away. Try your best, plan what and when you can. If you can’t, don’t pressure yourself and some of your unexpected relaxed runs are likely to be priceless!
Well done getting in done after the organised chaos that is Ofsted 👏👏👏
On the subject of heebie jeebies, you should always listen to them. They’re the result of your subconscious and gut brain (yes it’s a real thing lol) picking up on cues you’re not consciously aware of and you should always pay attention. That not quite right feeling is the body’s way of telling you to beware
Anyway, onwards and upwards to R3 and Week 3. Enjoy!
