So frustrating.. but w2r2 done.

I have 5 dogs and I couldn't imagine going out without taking at least one. (1 of them is a very young pup so isn't up to running yet). I took each of them out for my first 4 runs.. surprising just how different the experience was with each of them... My daft Old English probably enjoyed it the most but also tried to round me up and trip me up on many occasions! My eldest whippets happily trotted along beside me and my whippet girl sniffed the bushes and then sprinted occasionally to keep me in sight. For this, my 5th run, I thought I'd take the 2 eldest whippets together... So very different again.. poo stops are frustrating..meeting other dogs with the 2 of them takes much longer as I have to put them both back on the lead and keeping an eye on them both is distracting. I also dont have headphones and carry my big phone in one hand and when I tried to turn Laura's music down I managed to stop the podcast which meant stopping to try and get it roughly back to the same place. This happened 3 times! Arrrrggghhhh! My list of things to buy myself is getting longer by the day! Think I'll stick to the app and Sarah despite rather liking the podcast and Laura's gentle encouragement. 😂😂 And, for now, I'll stick to one dog at a time.

I take one of my lurchers, Dobby, who is 22 months old and a bit crazy, but I have a running lead I attach to myself to keep my hands free. Here's the link - it's really good, although she does tend to get in my way anyway, due to her youth and excitement! I like running with a dog as she keeps me company, even with headphones in! Well done and happy running!

Oh this looks good, thank you. I have a dog belt for when I take them all out just so I know I can let go of the leads if needed. It has a load of clips and a place for bags and water and things but I think it might be too bulky. Hadnt thought about using it though. Will have a try with it next time but keep this in mind to add to my list things to buy.

In a way it’s good as you aren’t fretting about everything as you have the dogs to worry about. Don’t forget though it’s about the runs 😃👍🐕🏃‍♀️

I learned to run with C25k to keep up with the dog 😃

Yes, distraction is possibly a very good tactic. 😂 One at a time til I've got the equipment to go hands free though, I think.

Yeah you don’t want to get hurt. I jog along with a hound and he pulls like a ruddy train. He’s pulled me down several times
