So decided to repeat week 1 as struggling to run full 60 secs for every run. I searched posts for tips and the general advice seemed to be to slow down/aka Japanese jogging.
I felt a bit daft at first (walking faster than I was jogging) but OMG it so worked for me. No longer gasping for breath or feeling sick. Its boosted my confidence and I feel ready for week 2.

Good luck to you too Treadmill. It took me a long time to summon up the courage to go out the first time but so glad I did. Figure its 30 mins of movement I wouldn't normally be doing.
Brilliant! Well done you. Running too quickly is a trap nearly everyone appears to fall into at the start of this, I most certainly did. I suppose it's only natural to associate running with going quickly but really, all that it means is that whilst you're moving, both of your feet are off the ground at the same time. Carry this knowledge with you to Week 2 & beyond and you should be fine.
That’s such good news we all learn that we have to go really slow in the beginning and as our legs and lungs get stronger our slow becomes a bit faster
