Hi Denston! I started C25K in September 2018 with a group of about 40 that was organised by our local athletics club. I joined the club after graduating and decided to muck in and help this cohort of newbies as the previous leader has moved on to do new things.
A friend and I started together, then she took a break for a while because of leg pain, so it's been a mix of on my own and with company. I do bang on about it to people all the time though! I bet it feels great to see your newbies getting through each run.
Well done and best wishes for week 2, itβs so addictive! Are you using a running app to measure your distance and pace? Itβs nice to see the progress over the weeks however small x
Totally new group! We have 3x who I know from the original group who got injured or out of practice but the vast majority are previously unknown to me. π
Yay! There's 2 or 3 struggling a bit that I usually stay at the back and distract / encourage. Yesterday my eldest kitten took on that role as I had less helpers and he did a fantastic job. Just ask Oldfloss for a reference! π
