W5R2 done πŸ‘

I went out earlier this morning as had an appointment this afternoon, so the weather was quite nice considering that it’s January. Ran roadside again, as the trail definitely affects my Achilles more, and managed the run quite comfortably. To any first timers out there bear in mind I’ve done this before up to W7R1 when I got injured - I started back after 6 weeks at W4. Planning on doing R3 on Sunday - bring it on πŸ˜†

Hope you’re all enjoying your running adventure 😁

Good to hear your recovery is still going so well, good for you keeping at it and monitoring the injury. Any more thoughts on that Parkrun yet? 😁

Happy running. πŸ‘

Parkrun, yes! I’m only allowed to run twice a week, which is frustrating but sensible. So I’m optimising that by having 2 rest days between runs....that means I’m running next on Sunday, then Wednesday, and then SATURDAY, so hopefully that will be my first one. I’ve already signed up and got my barcodes πŸ‘πŸ˜ only problem is it’s R2 of W6, an interval run, shame it’s not R3...

Really well done.

Glad you're doing ok with the road running.

I think I'd really struggle with trail.

Looking forward to seeing you progress right to the end!
