I decided to try an off road run today, as it was quite windy and the road route is quite open. Running around the lake is sheltered by trees. Found a nice rhythm and took it slowly and thoroughly enjoyed it. Achilles a bit sore, but plenty of stretching and an ice pack seems to have eased it. 2 days off till the next one.
Canβt wait to get back to W7R1, as every time I open the app thatβs where it takes me, and I have to scroll back.......I must be patient..... π
Happy running folks!

Well done on your run wenderwoo π I am having another week of because I went week last Monday could only do 1k ankle give in on me π‘ but been doing g loads on the bike so with a bit of luck I can start back πββοΈ soon good luck to you hope all goes well fingers crossed π€
The bike good but not the same as going out for a run so calves better not much pain in the Achilles but donβt want to rush back either lol frustrating π‘
Sounds like youβre on the mend π I ran round the park today as itβs flatter than the roads around the house. Was lovely to look up at the trees and across to the river, Iβm sure it made the runs go quicker!
You'll be back there very soon π€. Sounds a nice route round a lake; off road always better to me. I can't wait until the woods are dry enough to run safely - like a quagmire at the moment, but does make a good workout and will be great for consolidation runs!!! Keep looking after your ankle. πββοΈπ
Well done Wenderwoo. You're taking the sensible approach which I am sure will pay off in the long run (the second time today I've used that pun!). I'm sure it won't take you long to catch back up with yourself. Good luck & keep on keeping on...
