After graduating 5 months ago, I started a 10k plan, managed about 2-3 weeks but then due to a few niggling knee pains, holidays and work (excuses I know) I haven’t run for nearly 3 months.
I want to get back on it in the new year, I’ve joined a gym too so can do my runs on the treadmill through the winter.
Any tips on where to re-start the plan from? I was thinking week 4 or 5 and see how I go?
Thanks
Scott

As with anyone who has a break for whatever reason, all you can do is to go out for a very gentle jog and see what you can comfortably manage, then use that information to see where best to pick up again.
You may surprise yourself, but remember that you do need to recondition your body to the exertion of running and it is always safer to go back further than push yourself too hard on return, especially as you have had knee issues. Building in some knee strengthening exercises into your regime will probably pay dividends nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/k...
