I am just restarting after an accident this February when my shirt caught fire when I was cooking. I couldn't move for months because of pain from skin grafts and general recovery but I have now done one rep of week 1's run and for my second run I have moved onto week 2 which I could manage. I plan to do week 2 at least once more probably twice before moving on. At least this time I know I can complete it because u do it before!
So hello again!

Welcome back Sue. That is a truly horrible accident, I am so sorry. I hope you are OK and on the road to recovering completely, physically and mentally. I broke a couple of important bones, coincidentally also in February, a different sort of thing but I really do empathise.
I started running again in July and did the week 1 run nine times!! Today I have just completed week 5 run 3 - the 20 minute biggie. Piece of cake! Take as long as you need and repeat as many runs as you want, there is no hurry. You've done it before so there's no question that you will do it again.
Good luck with your running Sue. Sorry to hear of your accident it must have been a dreadful few months for you. Hopefully you are on the road to recovery now. Take care and let us know how your getting along ๐
What a terrible thing to happen, I'm so sorry to hear it. Best of luck with the programme, so many here have used it again, you'll be back to where you were soon xxx
Thanks everyone for the good wishes, I am really well now, just having OT to try and avoid the scars thickening but should really have restarted a little while ago! Don't get the idea that I am frail now, in fact there is rather too much of me!
