Hi all,
I’m starting week 5 of the plan tomorrow I know that each run increases slightly ending on a 20 minute run on the third run. I’m a bit nervous about this!
Has anyone got any tips on how to get through it?

Just like all the others.. slow and stead and one foot in front of the other. You are ready for each and every run...just take it gently and trust the programme.
It works... many have gone before you and survived... and many will follow...
"Believe you can do it and you are halfway there"!
W5R2 is 21 minutes of running with a brisk walking interval, so W5R3 is not a big jump at all, just another run.
My usual tip is to spend plenty of time contorting your face in front of a mirror before the run, just so the grin that will be on your face for the following week does not hurt too much.
Believe in both the amazing plan and the amazing you.
Go slow.
Thanks IannodaTruffe I’ve got 2 runs before that one yet! So I’m going to prepare myself and believe that I can do it!
Really important to not go off to quick - find your natural steady pace. And plenty of distractions along the way 🏃♀️💪
This run is all about pacing yourself, you can do it!
Be positive, believe you can do it and you will....Good luck😊x
Nice and steady, start slowly, stay slow...
Not much more advice than what has already been posted by other members: don't think too much about it before your run. Just relax and start very gently: if you're tense and worried, you're more likely to get tired quickly. You've made it to W5, so there's no reason why you couldn't run until the end: every previous run prepared you for the next step. Try to enjoy yourself and remind yourself it's not an exam
Hope it goes/has gone well. I start Week 5 on Monday and like you am a tad nervous of approaching the running without walking. The walking amid runs feels like the safety valve!
