I did my week 7 run 2 round my local streets with my teenage daughter yesterday. It felt so good to be out of the house and active after all that sitting around and eating with the family. For the first time I actually enjoyed a little bit of the "running" (i.e. very slow jogging) while I was doing it. I am always happy after a run because I have achieved it and it's over but to actually enjoy it (a little bit and briefly) at the time was a whole new thing. I said "Happy Christmas" to all the dogwalkers we met and some of them responded. My daughter thinks I am embarrassing but it is extremely kind of her to come out with me and give me moral support and I feel very lucky.
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and wish you all happy running in 2020!

Well done for getting out on Boxing Day! It’s certainly good fun over the festive season- there’s nothing like fresh air after being in the house 😊 And it’s great that your teenager can join in too. Keep going 💪🏼
It is good to get out after Christmas and maybe eating more than normal. Don't worry children do think we are embarrassing sometimes. My 19 year old asked my why do you have to run on Christmas day can you not just stay in. 😂😂
