Week 7 Run 2

Got out early before it gets too hot, solo run today partner goes to work at 7am so just me and a bit of Rick Astley in my ear. A bit slower than W7R1 but I did it and didn’t get a stitch this time I felt as though I had better control of my breathing this time and defo the cooler temp helped. 1 more then on to week 8 😱 happy running everyone. Well done -

Mine was today too but much slower than R1 and my calves are burning! No stitch though and breathing was good

Well done hun, early Run was defo the best option. I always find my calves burn I assume because I’m so over weight and unfit; my calves would lock on me and I’d get a numb sensation down my outer calves so I now wear compression socks. It still hurts until I get to about 5 mins in and then towards the end but I now find it a bearable ache more than a pain and the numbness has stopped.
