Well I missed my post on Run 2 (sorry Run 2 but I ran out of time).
Here's my route that I've been using from Week 6 and will do to the end of Week 9 with today's stats.
I got up extra early this morning to get my chores done, wifey and the cats fed to get out on the tarmac in time to get back for her lunch and get ready for my carers meeting this afternoon. Step daughter (it's all her fault) looked after wifey while I was out this afternoon and says to me ... bet you didn't think you'd be this far did you? And no I didn't. I still remember trying and failing to talk after running back from the (very) local shop, red as a beetroot and coughing my guts up (figuratively speaking of course).
A marginally better run than run 2, but it didn't feel like it. I'm sure all those Wychwood Hobgoblins I devoured on New Year's Eve are still causing mischief, I can almost hear them laughing at me. I am going to have to keep this running thing going and be a bit more careful with the 'happy pop', trouble is those mischievous Hobgoblins, they keep calling out my name!!
Week 8 starts on Sunday and I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel .... and it's not an oncoming train! But thank goodness for a couple of days off before it turns into a 28 minute run.
Let's rest and keep going!
