6. Music
The running has given me back the joy of music.
I love to run to all my favourite tracks and I am building up the number of artists etc I listen too.
But one really unexpected excitement is that I can play my favourite running tracks when not running and they give me that wonderful high!
Even if just washing up.
Our brains are so clever - really suggest you try it. On a horrid packed tube journey I was feeling really stressed by all the people, going to a terrifying meeting and then the train just stopped BUT a little running track music I felt Ali e and full of energy.
7. A life full of possibilities
In August I hadn’t t run since for about 40 years and never thought of myself as a runner. Now I am, with lots of encouragement from Jo Wiley 😁
Now, I am a runner I know I can do anything I set my mind too. What freedom this brings - specially as I build my new work life as a resilience coach.
I am now going to walk my daughter to work and then do my last C25K run - the best gift ever!
Thank you for all your support, I wouldn’t have got here without your help.
I have loved the journey and am loving each destination along the way!
