W4R1 complete - never thought I would be able to run for 5 minutes

Hey! Glad to find some like minded people also doing the 5k. I have dabbled with running so many times over the years and always gave up or ended up injured. I am feeling really pleased with myself at running for 5 minutes. Despite that success I can’t figure out how to put a profile pic on this 😂 well I can but it’s only a tiny bit of my Santa hat.

Well done. I had no doubt I could run for 5 minutes. That was until I had to run for 1 minute 😆. I was so embarrassed at how unfit and unhealthy I was.

Keep posting and let us know how you get on.

Re: the profile picture, all you need is time, effort and a good pinch of luck!

Welcome aboard. If you read the pinned post about c25k, it might help avoid your injury situation again.

Thanks for the encouragement folks. About to tackle Wk4 R2! Isn’t it funny how before a run it feels like a gigantic task. I know it will feel great after though.
